L'itinerario di viaggio

Get ready for an unforgettable experience aboard the Veliero Valentina II — a full-day excursion that will take you to discover one of the most enchanting corners of the Mediterranean.

We depart daily from Baja Sardinia at 9:30 AM, with meeting time set for 9:15 AM in front of Hotel La Bisaccia (Baja Sardinia).
Upon request, boarding is also available from Poltu Quatu, Cannigione, La Maddalena, and Palau, to offer you maximum flexibility and convenience.

The first stop on our journey is Spargi Island, one of the hidden gems of the Archipelago. We’ll drop anchor near one of its stunning white-sand beaches: here, you can go ashore to explore, stay on board to relax, or dive straight into the sea from the schooner.

From there, we head north toward Budelli Island, where we’ll stop to admire — and of course photograph — the legendary Spiaggia Rosa (Pink Beach), a place of rare beauty located in a fully protected conservation area.

Just a little further on, we’ll reach one of the most spectacular spots on our itinerary: the natural pools of Manto della Madonna. This shallow, crystal-clear area lies between Budelli, Razzoli, and Santa Maria islands. You can dive into the transparent waters or hop aboard our tender to explore the hidden coves and inlets that make this place so magical.

Meanwhile, on board the schooner, another delight awaits you: lunch, carefully prepared to offer an authentic journey into local flavors.
The menu includes:

  • A selection of appetizers: traditional Sardinian sausage and cheeses, marinated vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes, and olive pâté, all served with traditional Sardinian bread;
  • A first course of penne with tomato and fresh basil or, alternatively, pasta primavera with cherry tomatoes and olives;
  • To finish: seasonal fruit, coffee, Sardinian pastries, and a tasting of the finest local liqueurs — mirto and limoncello.

Accompanying the meal: still and sparkling water, and a fragrant glass of Vermentino di Gallura.

(Note: the menu may vary depending on product availability. Please inform us of any food intolerances by 3:00 PM on the day before departure.)

After lunch, the journey continues with even more unforgettable moments. Afternoon stops may vary depending on weather conditions and sea traffic, but typically include some of the most captivating islands of the Archipelago:

  • La Maddalena Island, the largest and most iconic, where you can visit the charming old town (listed among The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy), go shopping, enjoy a gelato, or simply stroll through picturesque alleys and scenic corners;
  • Caprera Island, the second largest, rich in marine biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes. Its beautiful seabeds will leave you speechless!
  • Santo Stefano Island, a true treasure trove of history and hidden tales — sailing around it feels like traveling back in time to uncover the secrets of a fascinating past.

We return to Baja Sardinia around 5:00 PM, with hearts full of memories, taste buds satisfied, and souls enriched by the beauty of a day lived to the fullest — surrounded by wind, sea, and wonder.
