Itinerary

If you love the sea and fancy the idea of sharing a day with friends or meeting new people, come and sail on one of magnificient Velieri Valentina schooners.

Two schooners offering full comfort to 15-20 persons sail each day to the stunning sand beach islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago - Caprera, La Maddalena, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria.  

Leaving from Poltu Quatu at 9:30, we first sail along the coast of North Sardinia past the famous Capo d'Orso (Bear Rock) and the small towns of Palau and Porto Raphael and then traverse towards the romantic Spargi island.  During our journey our team provides information about the area and any required service.

Our first stop is at Spargi's famous Granara Cove beach, where you can take a swim and sunbathe on the gorgeous sandy beach.  Around 13:00 we offer lunch on board serving delicious local food and wine. Food and drinks are included in price.

Around 14:00 we then sail towards the pearls of the Mediterranean sea - Budelli, Razzoli and Santa Maria.  In distance, once can also see Corsica.  Sailing along the coast of Budelli we pass famous spiaggia rosa (pink sand beach) and then make a second stop al Porto della Maddona. You can visit the islands and  take a swim or snorkel in natural swimming pools of the three islands. Snorkeling gear is provided free of charge.

In the late afternoon we sail back to Porto Quatu past La Maddalena (the Mother Island), Caprera and Santo Stefano with an estimated return time of 17:30. 

The schooners can be let exclusively for a small group of people with itinerary to be agreed upon.  

Sailing season starts beginning of May and ends mid October.
